Finding Rest while Wedding Planning

Wedding planning is an exciting yet exhausting process. It’s easy to get caught up in the details and forget about taking a break. That’s why it’s important to find ways to rest while wedding planning. Whether you need a date night, some romance, or just a step away from the stress of planning, there are plenty of ways to find rest and inspiration during your wedding journey.

The most important thing is to set aside some time for yourself and your partner. Take a break from the wedding planning and plan a romantic date night or weekend getaway that will give you both the inspiration you need.

Take regular breaks throughout any planning session so that you don’t get overwhelmed by all of the details of your big day. Additionally, make sure to get enough sleep, eat healthy meals, and move your body on a regular basis in to stay energized throughout this season.

In my own life, I’ve recently been inspired

to be more intentional about the time I set aside to refresh and rest up. I’ve instituted some routines on Sunday to set myself up to feel rejuvenated and ready for a new week.

My personal journey is inspiring me to incorporate more time for rest into my wedding planning process. This is manifesting itself in a few different practices:

- Encouraging my couples to take breaks from their planning to unplug

- Not planning meetings or sending out emails on Sundays

- Providing couples with date ideas to make date night easier when they already have so many other things to think about

- Being there as a support when questions and concerns do arise

To help myself and my couples have a successful wedding day, it is essential to find ways to relax and recharge. I encourage anyone planning a wedding to remember that taking care of yourself and your relationship should always take priority over planning.

warmly,
